The pictures

1.  Americans making muskets in the early years of the Revolution.  Gunpowder and bullets were also in short supply.

2.  Continental (American) soldiers gathered around a fire.

3.  A Minuteman plowing a field with his gun at the ready.

4.  One side of the Great Seal of the United States.  The pyramid, with 13 layers of stone, represents the United States.  The Latin words at the bottom translate as "A New Age Now Begins," or "A New Order for the Ages."  The words at the top translate as "He [God] smiles upon it."  The Roman numerals at the bottom give the year 1776.
